Final preparations are currently being made for the 2025 Appliance & Electronics World Expo, or AWE — to be held on March 20-23 in Shanghai — one of the world's three major expos in the home appliance and consumer electronics industry, along with the Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin in Germany and the International Consumer Electronics Show in the US.

With its global reach and industry influence, AWE has become the top platform for product launches and technological innovations.

Last year, the event occupied 150,000 square meters, attracting 365,000 visits from over 70 countries and regions — with more than 500 media outlets providing extensive coverage.

AWE 2025 will feature top brands from the home appliances and consumer electronics sectors — including Haier, Hisense, TCL, Bosch, Siemens, Samsung, Sony, LG, Panasonic, Huawei and many more.

The expo will spotlight the latest advancements in artificial intelligence, the internet of things and big data — showcasing innovative smart products and solutions for smart homes, smart travel and smart health.

In addition to the plethora of on-site exhibits, AWE 2025 will host an exciting online-offline shopping festival. It will partner with platforms like Tmall, JD.com, Douyin (the Chinese version of TikTok), Xiaohongshu and Bilibili. The result will allow consumers to experience firsthand the value of AI in home entertainment, health management and sustainable living — driving both industry innovation and consumer engagement.
